The leather removable dangler allows your knife sheath to ride lower than your hip belt and slightly increase its mobility. Not everyone prefers a dangler, but if you find that your backpacking hip belt rests on top of your knife handle sheath, and this bothers you, you may want to consider trying out a dangler.
Our danglers d-ring has a screw-in pin to assist in removal. The internal diameter of the d-ring is approximately 15 16 inches (it can be replaced with a larger diameter d-ring afterwards). The dangler comes grooved with burnished and painted edges. Made in our shop from the same 7-8 oz American leather as our sheaths.
