The bag is part of the Bandalay collection. Bandlay in Amharic means partnership. The Bandelay Design Collection is the result of a collaboration between the embroidery center Ahta , the designs of the fashion company Comme il Faut and the initiative of the Achoti Movement for Women in Israel. The collection combines the traditional and ancient culture of Ethiopian art with artisanship and contemporary fashion design.
