Currently these are offered in a maple laminate; yours may arrive darker in color (more like a mahogany).  The box holds the knife in two positions; flat, or set at angle with the edge locked in.  It has a clear plexiglass cover which slides out.  The box is built with mortise & tenon joinery, wood glue, and nails.  It features one of our Adventure Sworn mountain logo on one side of the box.  Made in USA.
